Learn to make a crossbody bag that’s stylish and sporty. In this workshop, we will examine the importance of snips—the right place, amount and length—and how it can improve our bag-making craft. Choose from a variety of chic or quirky Japanese fabrics to match the standard black accessories.
LEVEL: Advanced (You must be able to sew fast and well; and have experience sewing thicker bags with interfacing and/or batting before)

- Ironing and fusing interfacing and batting to your fabrics
- When to and not to interface the seam allowances
- Sewing a lined slip lining pocket with a mobile and pen compartment
- Working with metal teeth zippers
- Sewing zips on the outside of your bag
- Sewing of an outer zipper pocket
- Sewing of a top zipper opening with narrow bag gusset
- Making of an adjustable crossbody strap with canvas webbings, D-ring, adjuster and swivel snap hook
- Managing and reducing bulk during bag sewing

- A lot of hand sewing is required, you can opt to bring home and complete
