This intermediate crochet workshop is for crafters who have basic crochet skills and is split into 4 x 4-hour sessions, with compulsory homework to be done between the sessions.

- Material: Acrylic yarn, polyester fibrefill & embroidery thread
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:
- Your own 2.3-2.5mm Japanese crochet hook

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
- Materials you need to make the amigurumi
- The pattern for Little Deer by Hainchan (She receives a pattern fee for each workshop booked with Applelulu Crafts)
- Revisiting basics like how to hold your hook and yarn
- Japanese crochet techniques & stitch counting used in Japanese patterns
- Various crochet stitches used in amigurumi making
- Fastening and weaving of yarn tails
- Stuffing your amigurumi
- Finding the right placement for your amigurumi parts and features
- Stitching amigurumi parts together
- Embroidering facial features
- Painting the blush of your amigurumi
- All tools and materials are provided/on loan except for the crochet hook which you need for your homework after each session
- Pattern and stitch refresher videos will be given after each session
- Note: A fee of $10 per hour will apply if you need more guidance beyond the stipulated sessions
