Keen to learn how to make some simple, casual tops? Meet the Shikakui 四角衣 by Sou Sou. It is a simple rectangular top with a sweet rounded, bias-binded collar that requires minimal pattern tracing or no complex drafting. Characteristic of most simple Japanese apparel patterns, the Shikakui is baggy, relaxed and most airy to wear in our hot tropical weather. Match this comfy top with a pair of form-fitting shorts for a relaxed, countryside Japanese look.
